Leaflet distribution…Lock Up or Lose Out!

Our young people joined partnerships with West Yorkshire Police in delivering crime prevention leaflets in the Dewsbury Moor area. This was an area, not so far from our own, where residents had been reporting an increase in burglaries and thefts to cars and properties in the area. In a united effort to tackle this, Kumon Y’all volunteered with a group of eager and enthused young people that disseminated across the area of Dewsbury Moor, hand-delivering leaflets…

River Calder Cleanup

On Saturday 3rd February 2018, we gathered at our local River Calder for a community cleanup. Near Thornhill road, by the weir, was dirty and littered with bottles and pieces of plastic among other things. Our Kumon Y’all young volunteers teamed up with many faces, community residents and organisations such as: GoDewsbury, Friends of Rectory Park, Kirklees Adventurous Activity Team, Pennine Canoe and Rowing Club. A special thank you to Noddy who braved the cold and choppy…

After visit “I was speaking to Holly yesterday and she gave me a up-date of what you and the group have been…

Enthusiasm and sincerity came over loud and clear and the presentation was really well done; professional without being slick. If only the rest of the world could think and act the same way what a wonderful place it would be. Human…

I think your confidence in public speaking was very impressive, you were clear and your voices were really well projected, I wish I had…
